Why does my item have air bubbles?
Due to the nature of the materials used and the making process, air bubbles can not always be avoided, but we try our absolute best to keep these to a minimum.
With all products being handmade, it is still a surprise to us each time taking an item out of its mold, so it’s not always possible to determine the finished result until the end, although I am very picky as to what I will send out.
Why does my item look not look exactly like the picture?
Our items are made in small quantities by hand to reduce waste, so slight variations in colours and patterns may occur within the same product range.
We try our best to keep each piece as close as possible to the range e.g. coastal, but our items are made to be unique and individual, making your piece the only one of its kind!
How do I care for my item?
Each item is sealed with a natural wax blend and can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap, but please avoid any harsh chemicals and scrubbing as this will damage the surface of your piece.
We also advise wiping up any spills as soon as possible to prevent any staining.
Is the item dishwasher/microwave safe?
Although our products are sealed, making them water-resistant, they are not microwave or dishwasher safe.
Is my item waterproof?
Each item is sealed with an eco-friendly wax blend, making it water-repellant and NOT waterproof, so please keep your piece dry and avoid soaking in water.
Our pieces are also finished with a layer or cork, so please keep this part dry!
Is the item food safe?
Our pieces are for decorative use.
Although our products are sealed with a food-safe sealer, they are not created to be used for food.
When will my order be shipped?
If your order is a “made to order item” or not currently in stock, please allow 5-7 days for your order to be shipped.
If your order is in stock it will be shipped between 1-3 business days, depending on the time of day your order was placed.
What happens if my product arrives broken?
While we take utmost care in packaging your items, we understand things can go wrong in transit.
If your item arrives damaged, please send us an email at email@example.com within 2 days of receiving your order.

Photos of the damaged product/s
Photo of the shipping box/bag
Please don’t rush to send your item back to us, we ask that you wait until you receive a response from us and, we will try our best to resolve this issue!
Will my new item scratch my furniture?
All of our items are finished with a cork base, to protect your surfaces.
Do you accept returns?
We don't accept returns for change of mind, so please choose your items carefully.

What is my item made from?
The Milkman's Daughter homewares are handcrafted from an eco composite material known as “eco-resin” making them stronger and more durable than similar products made of concrete or plaster of paris.
Each piece is carefully molded, hand-sanded and sealed.
